The body is an iridescent red/hot pink finished with a ruby dichroic glass jewel enhancement. Easy to hold and breathtaking to view, the oil cell has square glass knobs on either side, affording the viewer an easy turning method. It is finished with Sue's signature patina that she adds to all her soldering, resulting in a copper effect on the eyepiece end, four little feet, and other adornments. > Find More Works By This Artist Details copper soldered stained glass strips trinket and glass filled oil-cell pink, red, purple and gold shades Sizes 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" Shipping All items are handmade and subject to availability. Sue Rioux has been pursuing artistic endeavors from a very young age. She started as a water-colorist, literally selling her paintings at local art shows starting at age nine. This experience taught her the critical color theory she uses to this day. She moved on to creating stained glass art of all kinds for many years. But she found her true niche designing and creating award-winning glass kaleidoscopes. Her creativity seems to have no bounds, with exquisite oil-cell kaleidoscopes, as well as her signature stained-glass barrel styles, all copper soldered and decorated with special glass details. She works from her home studio, surrounded by the nature that inspires her. -> See More From Sue Rioux
