Genelec 9401A Audio-over-IP (AoIP) interface device enables the complete Genelec range of Smart Active Monitor and Subwoofer products to be used in ST2110, AES67 and Ravenna format AoIP networks. Genelec 9401A supports up to 16 AES/EBU input monitors, offers a dedicated AES/EBU output for smart subwoofers enabling flexible bass management, and provides a separate flexible multi-purpose AES/EBU stereo output. The 9401A AoIP interface device can support all popular immersive formats, such as 9.1.6 audio. Several 9401A units can extend the channel count, enabling support for larger configurations, such as monitoring 22.2 audio. Smart Active Subwoofers can be cascaded or used in parallel to extend the low frequency output capacity, for extending LFE output, as well as to enable flexible bass management options for the main channels. 9401A requires GLM version 5.1 or higher.
