Review Das EFX has created a record with the repetitious beats, funeral music and gruff vocals of a gangsta CD, while avoiding most of the hyperbolic excesses of the gangstas. -- Option With their fourth album, Generation EFX, Dray and Skoob seem content merely to continue the same siggity sewer-oriented mission that they began six years ago.... The duo's formula works, though, on the tantalizing title track, which features EPMD sparring with braggy, freestyle rhymes over the theme from Rocky III.... But less impressive are tracks like the lead single, "Rap Scholar," which does feature an audacious appearance from Redman....
