The dummy regulator provides an additional fused link to protect your wiring harness in your car. Be sure to check that your cable is not bound up - if you install a bound cable, it could damage your tachometer You will need to remove your pulley and fan from your original generator and install it on this unit The "D" terminal is located on the rear of the unit. The "F" terminal is located on the side of the unit, and is slightly smaller than the "D" terminal.
