After a series of bloody battles he rose to power, proclaiming himself Universal Sovereign or Genghis Khan. His army was never very large, but it was extremely well organized and famous and feared throughout. As temujin you must conquer all the mongol tribes, and begin your quest for world dominance. You will still have to balance your military powers with the growth and labour of your people, but you are no longer alone. Your advisor gives you continious feedback from the battlefields, and he will also give out orders on your behalf if you don't want to do this yourself.Set in ancient China, the premise is straightforward: as Temujin (later to be known as Genghis Khan), your goal is to invade and conquer China, marching your army from Mongolia. The range of strategic options: you can choose a territory to invade, send spy, recruit warriors, and "displace" warriors or Khan. When your army invades a hostile territory, the game switches to a side-scrolling view in which you battle enemy soldiers in typical arcade/platformer fashion.The aim is to make gunpowder in order to blow up the Great Wall of China and then conquer Peking. In Baghdad there is a great magician and alchemist who will reveal the five components of the formula for gunpowder. Depending on the time of the year and the position of the stars, the components will vary each time you start the game. You have to conquer the five territories where the components are found and then head towards Peking.Too many soldiers in your army will reduce sanitary conditions and produce a mortal epidemic. You have to control your territories, as the inhabitants will rebel against an oppressive army or a weak one.
