Since we do not possess the skill to draw a classic traditional figure sketch, we overemphasized the contour lines of the figure, which made a body appear as a smiley face. Though it was unexpected, we liked it very much and decided to create a character based on that particular drawing.Since Nus only captures half of the beauty of the Venus de Milo, they are also only entitled to inherit half of the name. As a candle, Nus would burn and eventually transform from one sculpture into another.The Nus candle collection consists of Nus in four different poses, which are Sleepy Nus, Sit Nus, Genki Nus, and Stand Nus.All Nus figures are sculpted in clay and made into silicone molds. Finally, we cast organic beeswax candles from the molds. Since each handle is made individually, they are all slightly different and the burning time of each candle varies as well.
