This Mosasaur Tooth with Root features a large, high-grade fossil from a Mosasaurus beaugei. This species is the largest of six known in the Maastrichtian phosphates of the Ganntou r Basin (Morocco). The tooth is perfect, making it ideal for fossil hunters. Mosasaurs, extinct large marine reptiles, first appeared in the Cretaceous, likely evolving from aigialosaurs.
