A geode cake has a large carved indentation filled with beautiful sugar sugarmint crystals - this one is frosted with a purple galaxy effect meant to mimic the famous natural forma tion of rock and precious and semi-precious stones. Four layers of sponge (bake two cakes to create one tall cake). Approximately 8 inches high (excluding decorations on top).
