Rather than cutting, it works by gradually reshaping the stem through repeated use. Use the tool multiple times for switches or keycaps that require fine adjustment. Apply the trimmer both vertically and horizontally along the stem. Handle with care: this is a precision-tolerance tool that is sensitive to impact. Keycap Calibration Keep the keycap level during calibration. Do not use the trimmer vertically for keycaps. If the switch is rotated 90 degrees, use the trimmer vertically. Remove excess material (burrs) by carefully trimming the stem. For stem calibration, always use the tool in a vertical motion. As a precision tool, avoid dropping or applying excessive force.
