Brand: Georg Jensen Vintage: NV From: Multi Region RRP (per 750ml): $40 Why I like it: Lots of talk about Prosecco in Australia currently- with the Italian wine industry challenging Australian winemakers use of the name Prosecco. They are arguing that the variety should be protected like other regional indigenous wines [ think Champagne, Moselle etc] and rather we should be naming our wines Glera - which is the variety that Prosecco is made from. We call our grapes Prosecco-its all confusing. Either way- this is a beauty. And as an added bonus the Georg Jensen [Danish Jeweller] designed sparkling stopper is worth the price alone. Keeps all sparkling fresh for longer. a great gift! Apple, pear and super refreshing. Stylish all round.
