George Dickel Rye Here we have the venerated Tennessee distillery, dipping its toes into the hot-as-coal rye whiskey market. Granted, they haven't actually distilled any Rye Whiske y, but they've sourced it from Lawrenceburg Distillers in Indiana. The whiskey is then subjected to George Dickel's special charcoal mellowing process, which is typically performed before aging, but was adapted for this new product to add softness to the typically heady, savory spirit coming out of Indiana.
