Released in the Fall of 2013 as an offering from Buffalo Trace Distillery’s Antique Collection line up of rare and highly collectible whiskey bourbons. 2013 George T Stagg Straight bourbon is comprised of a mash bill containing an undisclosed percentage of corn, rye, and malted barley and is aged for 15 + years in #4 char casks with a barrel finish strength of 128.2% proof. With a limited batch of just 157 barrels, 2013 George T Stagg straight bourbon is a limited run edition to this annual release series. The aroma opens with warm fudge over vanilla, slivers of aged oak, and butterscotch coated cherries layered with clove spiced raisins.
