An oak drop-leaf dining table, English, mid-late 18th century, of oval form with twin hinged leaves supported on gateleg-action swing supports. Standing on turned and slightly tape ring legs terminating in pad feet, the top with good colour and grain to the solid oak boards. A practical and honest country piece, retaining an old worn surface with visible construction and wear consistent with age.
