Geraniol is one of the four most common rose alcohols (along with phenyl ethyl alcohol, nerol and citronellol), present in all rose varieties. Geraniol Extra BASF, with > 98% purit y, is the premium non-natural form of this material and makes an excellent cost-effective alternative to the more expensive natural isolate. For anything but the most luxurious fragrances and natural blends, we recommend this product over the natural. As well as forming a key part of a rose complex, geraniol adds freshness and lift to fragrances. It blends beautifully with Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, Citronellol 98, Rose Oxide Laevo, and Rhodinol ex Geranium Bourbon. Show more
