Description ❯ Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil has a rich rosy-floral aroma with green leaf, soft stem, faint minty herb, and natural sweetness. It is fuller and more floral than Egyptian Geranium, but it still keeps the recognisable green geranium edge that stops it behaving like pure rose. The first impression is leafy, fresh, and rose-like. As the sharper edge fades, the floral body becomes smoother and sweeter, leaving a soft green-rosy trace that works well in facial oils, creams, soaps, body oils, bath products, natural perfumes, diffusers, and floral-herbal blends. It can soften citrus, lavender, palmarosa, patchouli, clary sage, woods, and gentle spice. Geranium Bourbon works best when the rosy note is given space. Used lightly, it gives natural floral body. Used heavily, it can become sharp, soapy, leafy, or too rosy. Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
