Blooms, a German-inspired design. We were inspired by German gilt papers for this design. Though they were originally often made with metallic inks and powder, this is our black in k version. Our version is hand-carved from a woodblock made of cherry, then block printed one by one. Metallic versions are printed with ink first, then we add a metallic powder to them, to make them a shimmery gold or silver. Read our blog post about this design here. These are printed on 100% cotton paper from Khadi Papers in India, handmade from recycled garment industry offcuts. Read more about our materials.
