Manufactured from the 1980s-1990s, these were in use during and shortly after the Berlin Wall fell. Running right down to knee height, a hood and full length removable faux fur liner, these are built for the cold.Donning this parka is easy - a strong YKK zip runs from the waist and up to the neck. If its getting extra blustery it has a full length storm flap you can button up to keep the draught at bay. The main standout feature for this parka is the inner liner. Easily added or removed with snap domes, it runs the full length of the parka right from your knees, all the way down the arms and right over your head in the hood. Made from medium weight faux fur it will keep you plenty toasty and still be able to maintain movement. Those thoughtful Germans even left inserts in the liner so you can reach the parkas internal chest pockets - quite handy when reaching for a dry cigarette in bad weather! The parka also has 2 deep pockets that run down the top of the thighs and some well placed waist pockets that run down on an angle - ideal for keeping those hands warm.
