Our Getting Started short courses are delivered as a single 2.5-hour remote training session for Individuals or a Small Group (up to 3 people) with one of our experienced CDM Plus Trainers. Our session will use your current clinical software, including Best Practice, Medical Director, and Communicare to increase confidence and clinical skills in managing Type 2 Diabetes in primary care. Getting Started with Type 2 Diabetes is suitable for Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, and GPs looking to strengthen their role in chronic disease prevention and management. Course Objectives: Understand strategies for preventing Type 2 Diabetes in primary care settings Recognise the importance of early detection of Type 2 Diabetes using appropriate screening activities Increase confidence in preparing Care Plans and management strategies for patients living with Type 2 Diabetes
