Geum ‘Cosmopolitan’ is a beautiful, compact perennial shrub that is well suited for almost any part of the garden. The hardy plant is great as groundcover with its dense, mound-for ming dark green foliage and provides lovely cream flowers, their petals tipped with pink margins, which bloom on tall stalks in the late Spring and through to Summer. The flowers are perfect for cutting to be used in vases or bouquets. Plant in moist, well-drain soils and keep in full or partial sun. A hardy and generally low maintenance plant requiring little help to establish. Avoid overwatering during the Winter period as the waterlogged soil can damage the plant. May lose leaves and die back during colder weather but will return with fresh growth the following Spring.
