Ghost Coin Illusion is a handcrafted wooden magic trick where a coin appears to pass straight through a solid wood post. It is a close-up coin-penetration effect, one of the oldest families in magic, rebuilt as a self-working wooden prop that needs no sleight of hand. The effect: you slide a grooved plate holding a coin through the slotted wood box, then push the post through the middle so the plate jams against it. A moment later the coin has passed clean through the post and out the other side. The method lives in the prop, so a first-time performer can learn it in minutes and still fool a room. Load one of the four ghost coins, or a standard US quarter. The box measures 6 by 3 by 1 inches, small enough to pack for a trip or a party, and each set includes the wood box, the coin plate, the post, four ghost coins, and an instruction sheet. Because no sleight of hand is required, it makes a strong first magic trick for kids and beginners. We can also laser engrave a name, date, or short message on the back, a nice touch when it is headed out as a stocking stuffer, party favor, birthday gift, or white elephant pick.
