This does not affect functionality and the mug has been discounted to reflect this issue.* This mug was thrown on the wheel with stoneware. It is handmade and handled, with food safe glazes applied. Please keep in mind that my pieces are made completely by hand, and are in no way perfect. There may be minor aesthetic flaws that come through handling the mug while it’s being made, but I would never sell anything that can’t be used. Pinholes, fingernail knicks, and glaze flaws happen. If they are major, the mug will be discounted! Please note: while sanded for smoothness, clay still retains some rough texture. It has been sanded smooth for touch, so as to not damage countertops! Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to ensure longevity!
