Via Etsy Giant duckweed is a larger, more manageable version of the regular duckweed you see sneaking everywhere in the aquarium trade. This type has beautiful purple undersides as well! "Spirodela polyrhiza" is the largest type of duckweed (although tiny at 1cm), and is native to Florida. Ours is homegrown in Kansas! One portion is equal to 10+ plantlets, many already budding! This is plenty to start a 10 gallon tank. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm.
