Turquoise Pitcher Pitcher silhouette vase. An abstract vessel that references the outline of a traditional pitcher without adopting its function. A continuous body rises into a fla red lip, while a curved negative space suggests a handle. The form tapers through the waist and opens with a soft, asymmetrical flare. Made last century by a now-defunct highly coveted ikebana kiln renowned for pushing the visual limits of visual modernist abstraction. Suitable for single stems or restrained arrangements.
