With its rounded neck profile, vintage inspired appointments and rich semi hollow r esonance, this guitar captures the unmistakable character that made the ES 335 a true Gibson icon. Its thinline semi hollow body is built from layered maple and poplar with a solid maple center block, delivering exceptional sustain while reducing unwanted feedback. The substantial Rounded C mahogany neck offers a full and comfortable feel, while the bound rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays stays true to the earliest “dot neck” ES models. Equipped with a pair of Custombucker pickups featuring Alnico 3 magnets, the ES 335 50s produces the warm, open and dynamic tones associated with late 50s Gibson humbuckers. Hand wired electronics, an ABR 1 Tune O Matic bridge and aluminum stop tailpiece ensure excellent response and sustain.
