Gin Bothy created their Scottish rum, distilled from molasses, vanilla, mixed spices and uniquely Scottish saffron hand-picked in the Strathmore valley. (Yes, Scottish saffron!) Harvested by hand from crocus flowers in Forfar once a year, it’s more expensive than gold and creates a burnt orange depth to their rum. Gin Bothy hand batch only 200 bottles per distillation, and every bottle is hand numbered so truly a small batch rum. The spent molasses is given to a local horse sanctuary as the old horses love it! Serve: Designed as a sipping rum, it is great served neat on the rocks or for a longer drink serve with ginger ale, apple juice or cola. It also makes a great Dark and Stormy or Spiced Rum Mojito.
