On Saturday the 13th of June is World Gin Day, and what better way to celebrate than with some of Zenith Distillery's favourite gins. Serena is back on her feet again so it's time to get back into events. We'll be holding a masterclass with a specialised Japanese tasting flight with the Zenith Mujo Gin against some of Japan's Finest Gins with distiller Matthew Whittaker. The Mujo will be paired against the Sukurao from Hiroshima, which I first experienced while travelling around Japan, and the ever popular Suntory Roku Gin from Kyoto. (Plus a few other sneaky samples of Japanese Gins thrown in too.) We'll also have some specially prepared tasty treats from Kimmy's Sweet Treats, with a sushi platter and Matcha Cheesecake (from matcha used in the Mujo distillation) and a complementary Japansese Inspired cocktail the Yuzu Saketini to enjoy during and after the event. The masterclass will be $80pp at a maximum of 8 people for the Saturday from 3-5pm and includes: Japanese Gin Tasting Flight (+mixers) Sushi Platter while tasting & Matcha Cheescake for dessert Yuzu Saketini Cocktail Masterclass from the distiller about making Japanese Style Gins, Spirits & Botanicals.
