Gin Soft Shackle: textile soft link The Soft Shackle can be used for webbing-to-webbing connections, e.g. between your reserve parachute and reserve bridle or between the harness hang points and wing's risers, as an ultralight replacement for a metal maillon or carabiner. Compared to a metal maillon, the Gin Soft shackle is much lighter with a similar breaking strength when new. It features a locking system to prevent slippage under load and is easy to undo without tools.
