Whether you’re climbing thermals, hiking to remote take-offs or travelling light, the Verso 4 meets the needs of today’s versatile pilot. It preserves the all-in-one philosophy of the Verso series, while introducing significant enhancements in stability, comfort, and usability. As the fourth generation of one of our most popular harnesses, the Verso 4 raises the bar with a comprehensive redesign that improves every aspect of its function and feel: New ABS geometry for increased stability and more precise handling Lighter and more compact thanks to optimised materials and design concept Fully redesigned rucksack, ergonomic, roll-top and deatacheble Improved airbag with better shock absorption and pre-inflation at take-off Simpler and more intuitive clip-in process with fewer connection points Detachable rucksack via innovative zipper system Features New ABS geometry The new ABS system refines the way the harness handles weight shifts and behaves in turbulent air. It improves the precision of your inputs in turns, while enhancing passive safety in rough air. The geometry balances stability, giving pilots an increased roll stability and more precise control due the smooth behavior transferred by the wing. Lighter, more compact A careful rethink of the material selection and consumption has led to meaningful weight savings. By integrating advanced, high-tenacity fabrics and optimizing the base strcucture, the Verso 4 delivers the same robustness in a sleeker, easier-to-carry form—perfect for hike ‘n fly missions or travel. Fully redesigned rucksack The rucksack is no longer just a carry solution—it’s one of the central points of the Verso 4. Now roll-top and fully ergonomic, increased rucksack volume compared to it’s predecesor. Multiple compartments including bottle holders, zippered pockets and side access points ensure everything has its place and stays within easy reach. Enhanced airbag performance We’ve reshaped the airbag to provide even better impact absorption and quicker inflation. At take-off, the airbag now reaches a higher pre-inflation level, delivering protection earlier in your flight. Once airborne, its form maintains optimal pressure and aerodynamic shape through turns and turbulence alike. Simplified clip-in system Fewer connection points mean less time preparing and less risk of mistakes. The new layout is intuitive, clean and beginner-friendly while maintaining the robust security standards expected by experienced pilots. Whether you’re in a rush or flying solo in remote spots, clipping in is now a breeze. Detachable rucksack A key innovation is the removable rucksack, secured with a discreet but strong zipper system. This modularity lets you leave the rucksack behind for tandem flights or when minimalism is key. It’s also perfect for storage or for replacing the rucksack separately in the future—true adaptability for real-world use. They must be replaced after 5 years or 500 flight hours, whichever is soonest. They should never be used between spreaders and tandem wing risers as main carabiners. They should also never be used to connect bridles to the reserve. Gin product registration Register your Gin product here. Downloads See Gin Manuals
