Product description: This Aerohead MIPS Helmet takes the same wind-cheating silhouette as the leading-edge aerohead ultimate but adds increased ventilation to keep triathletes and time trialists cool when the competition is hot. By using a polycarbonate shell, Wind Tunnel ventilation and internal channeling, this helmet is proven to boost cooling power while remaining aerodynamic. Additionally, Aerohead MIPS features a wrap-around eye shield that offers an impressive field of view with the convenience of a magnetic anchor attachment to allow easy storage of the lens in the "flipped up" position - perfect for fast swim-to-bike transitions. Features: HARDSHELL WITH IN-MOLD HARDBODY LOWER WRAP. The two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight. INTEGRATED MIPS. All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's integrated MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the MIPS slip plane with the helmets adjustable fit system. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to riders brain in certain impacts. ROC LOC 5 AIR FIT SYSTEM. This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by enhancing cooling, as well as fit comfort and stability. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull, Roc Loc 5 Air allows cool air flow to pass directly over your head, further enhancing the performance of vents and internal channeling that exhaust heat out of the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc 5, allowing you to easily custom tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds using a single hand. SUPER FIT ENGINEERING. Super Fit Engineering is a proprietary process that guides the fit, design and patterning of every Giro glove for maximum comfort and performance. By carefully tailoring the palm, fingers and padding zones to match the shape and size of the hand, Super Fit Engineering reduces bunching and discomfort while enhancing grip, bar feel and the effectiveness of the padding. And with as many as six sizes available per model, almost any rider can great pair of gloves to match their needs. WIND TUNNEL VENTILATION. Giro helmets are developed utilizing our proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmets shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust fresh, cool air over and around the riders head while forcing heat and stale air out. Its the most effective cooling system available, and a difference you can feel every time you ride.
