A rare and refined Greek silver brooch pin, crafted during the Classical period, composed of two slender silver shafts joined at the top by a domed, ball-shaped head. A transverse bronze plate intersects the shafts diagonally, serving either as a clasp mechanism or decorative counterbalance. The form is both architectonic and sculptural, evoking the aesthetic principles of Classical design—balance, proportion, and restrained elegance. Silver dress pins and brooches of this period are considerably less common than their bronze counterparts and were likely worn by elite women.
