Original antique advertising poster for Gladiator Automobiles and Cycles featuring great artwork by Henri Gray (aka Henri Boulanger; 1858-1924) depicting classic cars speeding and motorbikes racing towards the viewer on an ancient Roman style track with pillars and spectators watching from awning-covered stands and men in Roman soldier uniform on the side, set within a decorative frame with the bold title text above and rest of the stylised lettering with the logo showing a horse rearing on top of a globe below. The Gladiator Cycle Company (1891-1920) manufactured bicycles motorcycles and cars and was founded by Alexandre Darracq and Paul Aucoq, based in Le Pre-Saint-Gervais Seine Paris. Horizontal.
