Designed as part of Erstwilder's collaboration with Australia's Queen of Cakes Katherine Sabbath, and inspired by one of her real creations, this limited-run Glamington Cake Brooch is (almost) good enough to eat! This sweet wearable art piece has been hand-assembled from a selection of delicious resins, complete with glitter and etched detailing, for all the true lamington lovers out there. 55mm x 49mm (H x W) DESIGN STORY “What do you get when a lamington dresses up for a big night out? A glamington, of course. This sponge-cube-rolled-in-coconut sensation is magicked into an elegant layered cake with this fairytale creation. Wear this design with sassy Aussie pride!” Info Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all Erstwilder designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are. Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Earrings hooks are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Earring posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel or silver-plated brass. Care Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing a black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth.
