An heirloom serving set in our signature PRPL finish, designed and finely crafted in Philadelphia by the talented artist and metalsmith Rachel Kedinger. Each tool of this special three-piece offering is shaped entirely by hand at Rachel's one-woman studio, the ladle, serving spoon, and strainer featuring handles forged of solid brass on stems of contoured stainless steel, and hand-formed stainless steel heads coated with a purple glass enamel. The texture, sculpted design, and weight in the hand of the dark, patinated brass radiates feelings of warmth and comfort, clear indications of the love and care that goes into each object's creations. To provide the ideal size and balance for serving in the kitchen or dining room, slim, solid steel stems are secured to brass at the top, and to the accompanying head by a pair of hand-peened steel pins. For ladling, draining, scooping, and serving, the bowls are beautifully made with daily use in mind, the solid stainless steel coated by hand with glass enamel in our Eatingtools purple hue. This striking yet understated aesthetic produces culinary utensils of a rustic elegance that will spur conversation, and be passed down through the generations.
