Glaze is the key! This super versatile product can bring tons of depth, dimension, and drama to your painted furniture. Use darker glazes to enhance the contours of a piece, bringing shadows to crevices and details, or use metallic or opalescent glazes to highlight raised areas and give pieces more dimension overall. For more control over the glaze, I prefer to varnish my piece first. I then apply with a brush and wipe back the excess with a baby wipe or damp paper towel.
