Glaze Study No. 2 A functional ceramic mug created during glaze testing in the studio. Each piece represents a glaze that I loved during the first round of testing but, in addition , wanted to test on a 3D surface. Each mug is marked with its original test number used during the development process. These markings are permanent and serve as a record of experimentation within the kiln. While originally created for testing, each mug is fully functional and finished with the same materials and care as production pieces.
