This quality cabinet is made largely of mahogany with plywood drawer base and internal sections.Our restoration workshop has stripped and cleaned this cabinet before applying a matt lacquer finish that enhances the colour and grain of the mahogany as well as providing a good level of everyday protection. As with all lacquered furniture care is needed when placing hot or sharp items and we always recommend the use of mats or coasters to avoid future damage. It should be noted that this item formerly had a top section and there are dowels inset at the back edge of the top surface where this was fixed.
