30 year old Semillon vines, taken as cuttings from the oldest Semillon vineyards in the Hunter Valley. A very different kind of Hunter Valley Semillon – less upfront citrus so typi cal of the region and variety. Here the palate is dominated by tropical notes and stone fruit. There is acidity, but it’s in balance and not overpowering. Lively and refreshing as a youngster, this wine has ‘age me’ written all over it – like many Glenguin Semillon vintages have shown over the years. Show more
