The 62nd release from Dramfool is a another stunning Glenmarvellous from the fantastic secret distillery in Speyside that we cannot name. It was distilled in 2008 and and bottled a t 14 years old at cask strength of 55.6%. It is a beast of a dram and the active Bourbon Barrel has imbued the whisky with lots of toffee and a myriad of fruity flavours. This is Dramfool’s Spirit of Speyside 2023 bottling. An indescribable fruity note lingers, and there is a crisp mineralic note like pebbles from a river. Blackcurrants can be picked out too.
