Glimmerschiefer is a field blend wine from old vines rooted in mica schist soils in Kamptal, made primarily from Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and small amounts of other traditional l ocal varieties. It is built around a linear, mineral-driven structure with vibrant acidity and a fine, stony tension throughout the palate. Subtle citrus, orchard fruit, and herbal notes sit in the background rather than taking the lead, giving the wine a restrained, savoury profile. The finish is long, precise, and deeply expressive.
