Low Form Griffin Glass Beakers, Dual Graduations, ASTM E960 — 20 mL to 4000 mL The Globe Scientific Globe Glass Low Form Griffin Beaker is a borosilicate workhorse for routine meas uring, mixing, and heating across the bench. Dual graduations on each beaker support quick volume estimation during titration prep, reagent dilution, and buffer formulation, while the uniform low-form wall geometry promotes even heating on hot plates. Frequently Asked Questions What glass type are these beakers made from? They are manufactured from Globe Glass borosilicate 3.3, offering low thermal expansion and high resistance to thermal shock and most chemical reagents. Are these beakers autoclavable? Yes. The borosilicate construction withstands standard autoclave cycles. Allow gradual cooling to prevent thermal stress on larger volumes. What does ASTM E960 compliance mean for graduation accuracy? ASTM E960 sets dimensional and tolerance standards for laboratory beakers. Dual graduations provide approximate volume reference; use a Class A volumetric vessel when certified accuracy is required. How are the different volumes packaged? Pack quantity varies by size: 20–400 mL ship 12/Box, 600–1000 mL ship 6/Box, 2000 mL ships 4/Box, and 4000 mL ships 1/Box.
