When Binocular Is the Right Choice Every trinocular microscope directs a portion of light to the camera port, even when no camera is attached. In a binocular microscope, 100% of the light reaches the eyepieces, producing the brightest possible visual image. Choose this binocular model for student teaching stations (where digital imaging is handled by a separate instructor microscope), for clinical workstations focused exclusively on visual examination, or whenever budget allows only one phase contrast microscope and no camera is needed.
