Glockenspiel 8 fixed notes. The slightly curved, slightly inclined arrangement of the sound carrier offers a good platform to play. Chimes come with booklet with sheet music with s ome pentatonic and some diatonic songs. Includes one hard and one soft (rubber padded) wooden mallet. Comes in two options: ~ the diatonic scale, which is the traditional DO-RE-MI scale. In the pentatonic scale, notes that have more of a sound of pausing or tension have been removed, leaving only notes that compose a continuous free-flowing sound when played together.
