They have not been injected with dye or harmed in any way, and their care, hardiness and lifespan is the same as any other Zebra Danio. They should be kept in a group of at least 6 since they are schooling fish, and may squabble amongst themselves to determine a pecking order. Having a proper sized school will also negate any fin nipping behavior. They are most popularly kept in specialized GloFish tanks with blacklights and dark substrate to best bring out their color, but will live fine in any aquarium set up for danios. Their diet should consist of high quality flakes and pellets as well as live and frozen foods.
