Glossectomy Spoon transports the bolus of food to the oropharynx. Especially useful for people who have had surgery of the tongue. The spoon is placed as far back into the oral cav ity as possible. When the operating knob is pushed forward, the pusher delivers the food from the spoon onto the base of the tongue. More acceptable to patients than tubes because it resembles regular flatware.
