What is the difference between standard and premium? Our premium gloves belong to the Steiner Brand. The Steiner mountain glove maintains the Steiner mantra #warmupyourwinter. The very reason for Steiner’s existence today is to ensure we deliver warmth to the user. Made with a high performing soft-shell outer, Steiner’s STAY-DRY waterproof membrane and the all important Primaloft™ superior insulation the Steiner mountain glove will keep you dry and warm whatever the elements throw at you. What is the difference between gloves vs mittens? Mittens are warmer than gloves (made with the same materials) because, unlike with gloves, your fingers can share warmth. Mittens also have less total surface area for body heat to escape For added warmth we would also recommend wearing glove liners under gloves, you can purchase glove liners here!
