Glowlight Tetras (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) are a popular freshwater aquarium fish known for their vibrant, iridescent orange-red stripe that runs along their sides. They are peace ful, schooling fish, typically kept in groups of six or more, and are a great addition to community tanks with other non-aggressive, similarly sized species. GloFish tetras, on the other hand, are a genetically modified variety of the White Skirt Tetra, bred to express bright, fluorescent colors like electric green, moonrise pink, sunburst orange, galactic purple, starfire red, and cosmic blue.
