Their bodies are almost translucent and they have a brilliant neon orange stripe running along their sides. They should be kept in an aquarium with plenty of hiding places in a shoal of at least 6-8 so that they will feel secure and engage in more natural activities. They are a peaceful community fish and can live with a variety of tankmates. They will eat small foods like micro pellets, as well as daphnia, brine shrimp, bloodworms and tubifex.
