The updated back system uses moulded closed-cell foam panels to provide structure and even load distribution, while open-cell foam in the shoulder and hip areas adds cushioning where you need it. All contact points are wrapped in mesh to create a smooth, comfortable feel against clothing. Revised shoulder strap construction improves how the pack sits across the chest and where the straps connect to the pack body, giving a more secure, dialled-in fit across a wider range of body shapes. Gnarl comes into its own on one-day hikes, off road rides and steeper mountain missions.
