This is a lovely new design that at first glance wants to be seen as a casual jeans style buckle, but the more you look at it and its very sleek silver finish the more it ends up a s a buckle that could cross the divide between smart and casual. Although it is chunky in look and feel it is not overwhelmingly so, which is why we feel it can still work for smarter casual occasions. I can see this paired with a sleek black belt, the gnarled edges of the buckle adding a hand crafted contemporary finishing touch, but of course it can work with other colours as well, navy and burgundy come to mind, in fact I rather like the idea of this buckle worn on stronger colours too such as purple, red or orange to really bring out the colour.
