Description The M5Stack GNSS Module is a multifunctional positioning and sensing module built around the NEO-M9N-00B high-precision GNSS receiver. It supports multiple satellite constellations and reaches approximately 1.5 m positioning accuracy for navigation, field mapping, logistics, environmental monitoring, and other location-aware IoT applications. Beyond positioning, the module integrates a BMI270 6-axis IMU, BMM150 3-axis magnetometer, and BMP280 barometric pressure sensor, allowing it to capture location, motion attitude, magnetic heading, and altitude-related pressure data in one stackable module. A reserved M5Stamp expansion slot can add wireless communication functions for remote IoT deployment. Notes BMM150 magnetic field interference: Products with magnets may interfere with the BMM150 magnetic field sensor and cause abnormal readings. When using controllers with built-in magnets, remove the magnets and keep the BMM150 away from strong magnetic fields. Signal quality: For good signal reception, place the GPS/GNSS module outdoors during use. Features Multi-constellation positioning with GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou support. Approximately 1.5 m positioning accuracy with up to 92 supported GNSS channels. Supports simultaneous reception from four GNSS signal sources for more reliable positioning. External active GPS/BD antenna support through the module antenna interface. Backup battery and EEPROM help protect data during power loss. Integrated BMI270 6-axis IMU, BMM150 magnetometer, and BMP280 barometric pressure sensor. Configurable UART pins, PPS sync signal pins, and sensor communication settings through reserved switches. Reserved M5Stamp expansion slot for adding wireless communication functions. It supports GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou for multi-constellation positioning. What sensors are integrated besides the GNSS receiver? It includes a BMI270 6-axis IMU, BMM150 3-axis magnetometer, and BMP280 barometric pressure sensor. How can I get better GNSS signal reception? Use the module outdoors and keep the antenna with a clear view of the sky whenever possible. What should I watch for when using the magnetometer? Keep the BMM150 away from strong magnetic fields and remove built-in magnets from nearby controllers when needed to avoid abnormal readings. Can it be expanded for remote IoT communication? Yes. The reserved M5Stamp slot can be used to add wireless communication functions for remote IoT applications.
